The message by a wise man…
Pierre Dulaine…
Born in Jaffa, and living there the first four years of his life…
Palestinian mother, Irish father…
His project:
Ten weeks for ballroom dancing classes
for Palestinian children dancing with Jewish children…
Dance is grace
Dance is sensual
Dance is the acceptance of moving your body in public
Dance is sharing
Dance is a mix of the two sexes on a dance-floor
In these both cultures, boys and girls don't touch each other and don't dance together.
"When you touch someone with respect, something changes", Pierre Dulaine says…
The action takes place in Jaffa,
Civilized and educated city? Maybe…
The Weizmann School is a school with Jewish-Arab students mixed.
Two other schools will take part to this project till the competition.
The project doesn't involve politics, but the documentary shows political events in the background.
The difficulties of the project remain political and religious views.
Education provided by good impartial teachers, creativity, and sense of humor can lead to peace between human beings…
On the dance-floor, they are dancers, they are not Arab or Jewish.
This man gave me hope for a better world…
Old generation which believe that something is possible between these two communities.
There are stories focused on the life of three children.
The interaction coming from their dancing body is delightful.
Their discovery of the world of their 'enemy' is magic.
The hardest work was to convince the parents.
Who will care which school will win the competition?
Let's dance and enjoy the competition!
Look at these little ones dancing the rock'n'roll!
Look at the smiles on the parents's face!
Dance will open the petals of the flowers the most closed.
Pierre Dulaine deserves the Nobel Peace Prize…
