The holiest one.
My favorite.
I feel his holiness.
I feel that his body is lying on the soil, but his neshama is in the air.
I feel a serenity, it's the end of the war, Tisha B'av 2014…
Western Wall: Wall of Lamentations.
Mourning day…
He doesn't mourn, he doesn't think, he is not here with us…
Hashem has taking him from us.
His hat on his chest reminds me a poem by Arthur Rimbaud, Le Dormeur du Val* (Asleep in the Valley).

A classical poem that all the French of my generation have studied at school.
I love the colors of this poem.
First verse: green
Last verse: red.
Green and red are complementary colors in the spectrum.
Green is nature, life.
Red is blood, death.
We can compare this holy man to the body of a soldier: they don't move. They have left us.
Both are in connection with Hashem, not for the same reasons.

The most symbolist ones.
A soldier and a Hasidic.
Many Hasidim refuse to go to military service, especially the Satmars.
They pray and fell asleep together.
Ver veys if under his tallit, he doesn't have peyos.
Both have a holy book.
The soldier has more beard than the Hasidic.
Are they dreaming of Hashem?

He is praying, turned to the tank which protects him.
Hope that this soldier is still alive.

The Modern ones
When old-fashion meets modern world.
I like the black grab and the way they dress.
Something prestigious and majestic.

Religion is a life, or life is a religion?
What a Hasidic painter paints?
Hasidim of course! :-)
